Tim Roemer serves as Chief Executive Officer of GMI, where he leads the company’s strategy to help organizations address evolving cybersecurity, operational, and national security risks.
Before becoming CEO in 2025, Roemer served as GMI’s Chief Security Officer, guiding the company’s security initiatives and strengthening protections for both GMI and its clients against emerging global threats.
Roemer began his career with the Central Intelligence Agency, serving for ten years in national security roles, including two years in the White House Situation Room providing intelligence briefings to the President, Vice President, and the National Security Council.
He later served in the Arizona state government after being appointed by Governor Doug Ducey and unanimously confirmed by the Arizona Senate as Director of the Arizona Department of Homeland Security while simultaneously serving as the state’s Chief Information Security Officer, overseeing cybersecurity, border security, and counterterrorism initiatives.
